Al Rustaq Fort
The original construction date of Al Rustaq fort is unknown and it is estimated that its first construction was by the Persians or before Islam by four centuries, in the reign of Kasin ibn Qabas. The castle was created in its current form on Persian ruins around 1250. The castle consists of two main floors and a ground floor, and contains housing rooms, weapons stores, reception room, cells, several wells, the Bayada mosque, and the shrine of Imam Saif bin Sultan.
